Did you hear the news? Nintendo just revealed that Wave 4 of their Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will release on March 9th, 2023. They released a trailer showcasing all eight courses and even revealed Birdo as an unlockable character! You can watch it on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been around for some time, and although there has been no talk of a sequel yet, the Booster Course Pass keeps the game fresh with new content. Even though some courses are returning favorites, it’s always exciting to see them again!
Wave 4 courses on Mario Kart Tour include some unexpected favorites like Singapore Speedway, Bangkok Rush and Amsterdam Drift. Plus there’s a new course inspired by Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island that boasts an eye-catching art style and upbeat music. The trailer for this new course showcases its flowery yellow fields and lush environments in stunning clarity.
The highlight of the trailer is Birdo’s return to Medium weight class! Fans have long anticipated his return, and it’s exciting that there are now new characters in the game! Additionally, other returning characters may return in future episodes as well.
With only two waves left to go, it will be exciting to see what other surprises the developers have in store.
